Guitar Playing

GUITAR

Guitar lessons are offered for all levels and all ages.

All students learn to read music as well as tablature.

Students can choose the style of music they wish to pursue.

GUITARKIDS®

Guitarkids® is a program for young students wanting to learn to play the guitar. Students are taught to read notes and tablature through age-appropriate material. Visit the web-site: www.oneeyepublications.com to learn more.

VOICE

Students should be at least 8 years of age to begin singing lessons to prevent damage to the vocal chords.

Students may follow a Conservatory program or musical theatre or just sing for fun. All styles of music can be taught.

WOODWINDS/BRASS

All instruments in the Brass and Woodwind families are taught. Students may reinforce what is learned at school, pursue a Conservatory program or play for fun. Students should be at least 8 years of age to begin.

DRUMS

All types of drumming styles can be taught.

Students should have a minimum of a practice pad in order to practice at home.

THEORY

All levels of Music Theory are taught. A Conservatory program is generally followed. Basic Rudiments are taught as part of the lesson in all instruments with formal Theory lessons beginning at the RCM/CC Grade 9 level Harmony and History.

VIOLIN

Violin lessons are offered for students age 4 through adult.

Students can pursue a Conservatory program or learn for fun.
